The Country Manager will be the top business executive in the country. He or she will be responsible for and oversee all staff, budgets, and operations of the local business unit. The Country Manager will be an adept leader with a strong business mind and poses a drive for organization, collaboration, and results. Ultimately, he or she is responsible for ensuring individual departments are well organized, efficient, and achieving their departmental objectives.

Responsibilities
• Oversee day-to-day operations
• Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
• Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
• Set policies and procedures for our Colombian operation
• Ensure employees are motivated and productive and develop professionally
• Direct the employee assessment process
• Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
• Liaise with and prepare regular reports for our Colombia Board of Directors

Requirements and skills
• Fluent in Spanish and English
• A good knowledge base of the country/region
• Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role
• Experience in planning and budgeting
• Comprehensive knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement,
operations etc.)
• Strong analytical ability
• Excellent communication skills
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
• Problem-solving aptitude
• BSc/BA in Business or relevant field; MBA or relevant graduate degree is a plus
